From Dr. Robert M. Bleau, M.D. December 22, 1995 Dear Dr. Cua, I am sending you a copy of a recent letter I wrote to Dr. Weil, author of "Spontaneous Healing." Dr. Weil describes several different approaches to healing in his book. Although trained in Alopathic medicine he believes (as do I) that some conditions may be more appropriately treated using alternative therapies. My condition, Multiple Sclerosis (an autoimmune problem) was diagnosed with an MRI, Evoked Potential Respone and Lumbar Puncture in 1993. Since then, I have had three exacerbations of increasing severity requiring corticosteroid treatments. Looking back, I can now clearly recall exacerbating and remitting symptoms for several years. From Judy Tung, President of Chinese Business Association October 15, 1995 After receiving treatments from more than 10 other doctors in Taiwan and California for 12 years, my severe migraine and back pain problems were finally solved by Dr. Luke Cua in 1984. From the Office of Mr. James E. Janak September 29, 1995 Dear Dr. Cua, The following is an endorsement of your acupuncture treatments and the new vita herbal supplement. In Dec. of 1994 I was diagnosed as having Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Among the side effects that I had was very poor blood circulation to the fingers in both of my hands, and a very severely violent cough. My fingers were hyper-sensitive and the pain was so great that it even hurt when I put in my contact lenses. My fingers had open sores at the tips and they were losing the pulp tissue. My occupation is a computer systems programmer. I need my hands throughout the day since I work with a terminal and keyboard extensively. Memory loss and senile dementia are associated with the aging process. Forth-four males and 30 females aged 50 to 77 (average 57.6) were selected. All of them were given 5 grams of CCR daily for three months. The physical and intellectual functions of all treated subjective observations and brain function tests (see table below).
